welcome

A tattoo is a form of body modification where a design is made by inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either Permanent or temporary, into the dermis layer of the skin. The art of making tattoos is called tattooing.

Tattooing has been practiced across the globe since at least Neolithic times, as evidenced by mummified preserved skin, ancient art and the archaeological record. The oldest discovery of tattooed human skin to date is found on the body of Otzi the Iceman, dating to between 3370 and 3100 BC.

MAORI/POLYNESIAN TATTOOS

For the most part, tribal tattoos are derived from ancient tribal art. In many cultures, getting tattooed was (and still is) a rite of passage. Modern tribal tattoos are based on ancient designs. These cultures use their art to depict rites of passage, social status, and family identification.

NEO-TRADITIONAL TATTOOS

OLD SCHOOL TATTOOS

Old school (tattoo) refers to a Western or traditional American tattoo style featuring bold black outlines and a limited colour palette. This limited colour palette typically included yellow, red, green, blue and black.

NEW SCHOOL TATTOOS

PORTRAIT TATTOOS

Portrait tattoos are an interesting form of body art as they feature beautiful portraits of people that not only look good but hold immense personal significance for the wearer. A tattoo design featuring the head shot of an individual is the most common form of portrait tattoo.

ORNAMENTAL TATTOOS

Ornamental tattoos are usually done with black ink, ornamental tattoos are mandalas, laces, or florals that are just there to be flaunted or accentuate the bearer's body. For ornamental tattoos, complexity is not the name of the game but perfect placement is.

ABSTRACT TATTOOS

Abstract tattoos often don't represent a specific thing, often they are a symbol of a broader idea, shaping thoughts and colouring emotions. An abstract tattoo can represent a physical item, pattern, animal, place or person, but it can also be used to express emotional and spiritual ideas

TRASH POLKA TATTOOS

Trash Polka is a tattoo style created by tattoo artists Simone Pfaff and Volker Merschky in Würzburg, Germany. The characteristics of Trash Polka tattoos can be a combination of naturalistic, surrealistic, photorealistic motifs with graphic, lettering and calligraphic elements in mainly black & red.

WATERCOLOUR TATTOOS

With watercolour the purpose is to stand out with vibrancy. A watercolour tattoo is applied the same way any other tattoo would be. The difference is in the brushstroke appearance and wispy feel of the artwork. Watercolour tattoos drip and splatter, screaming for attention.

GEOMETRIC TATTOOS

When it comes to cracking the geometric tattoos meaning, in most cases, they were tied to spiritual and religious practices in ancient times. However, in today's world, they symbolise balance, symmetry, stability, intelligence, mystery, and much more.

REALISTIC TATTOOS

Body art realism is the fashionable ruling force of mankind's future. Realistic tattoos keep getting more insane by the hour, and ink aficionados can reap incredibly aesthetic rewards from replicating 3D graphics on their skin. This kind of tattoo unlocks serious potential in your outlook.

ORIENTAL TATTOOS

strength, courage, protector against bad luck, evil spirits, and disease, wind. The Japanese tiger tattoo carries with it the same traits we attribute to the real animal-strength and courage, but also long life.
